Location  Southern suburb of Kolkata in an area known as Jadavpur. IICB is situated at 4, Raja S. C. Mullick Road, Jadavpur, Kolkata 700032 near Jadavpur University. It is nearly 15 km away from Howrah Station, 9 km away from Sealdah Station and 30 km away from the Netaji Subhash International Airport.

Campus  At IICB, the students will live in an intellectually stimulating environment, use the most modern equipments, laboratories and library, and go through the specialized courses designed to achieve the goals that country may set for itself in the pharmaceutical sciences.
The Institute will provide residential facilities to all the students at the CSIR Scientists’ Apartments at Prince Anwar Shah Road, nearly 1.5 km away from IICB. Transport from and to the Students’ hostel before and after regular classes will also be provided by the Institute.

How to reach

By Rail: Most of the domestic airlines have direct services to and from Kolkata to other important cities of India such as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Patna, Varanasi, Lucknow, etc.. The airport in Kolkata is situated at Dumdum, around 17 km northeast of the city center.

Local Transport Pre-paid taxis are freely available at both railway stations (Howrah & Sealdah) and also from Airport. Approximate Taxi fare Rs. 120/- from Howrah and         Rs. 170/- from Airport respectively as on today.

Hostel : Hostel is situated opposite to ‘South City Complex’ and besides ‘Priyo Jewelry’ on Prince Anwar Shah Road. Bus Stop: Poddar Nagar
