  • Mechanism of dysfunctions of cardiomyocytes in hyperthyroid induced cardiovascular disease.
  • Identification of altered gene expression profile in hypertrophied heart.
  • Mechanism of ROS mediated inhibition of gene expression in hyperthyroid-induced hypertrophied heart.
  • Ca2+ signaling in cardiomyocytes.
  • Role of annexin A6 in the regulation of Ca2+ homeostasis in cardiomyocytes.
  • Identification of biomarkers of heart diseases.
  • Identification of single nucleotide polymorphism on the genes those are functionally important for heart function among various Indian populations.
  • Screening synthetic and herbal sources for development of anti-asthmatic molecules.
